_THE BRIEF
A Hong Kong Jockey Club campaign film about Parkinson's disease, told through a young daughter's eyes. She can't understand why her dad can no longer run, or even write his own name, until her mom tells her what really matters: not what he can do, but his great heart. The music had to stay as innocent as her point of view and let that warmth land.

Because the story is seen through a daughter's eyes, the score is written in 3/4 time on acoustic guitar: a light, lilting sway that feels like childhood. No electronic instruments anywhere, so the sound stays organic and pure, like the bond between father and daughter. One motif runs through the whole piece and ties it together.
